About Alchemist Coffee
ALCHEMIST COFFEE is a Sapporo specialty coffee roaster based in Miyanomori, near Hokkaido Shrine. It says it was the first in Hokkaido to install a 15 kg Giesen roaster, and its philosophy treats good coffee as a form of self-care.
The roaster sells beans online with stories from the farms it buys from, and supplies restaurants and cafés, including the Michelin-starred aki nagao. It created a milk-brew coffee with Hoshino Resorts' Farm Hoshi and serves coffee at the Hokkaido Government Building.
It was also the first specialty coffee chosen as a Sapporo hometown-tax gift, and it offers brewing demonstrations.
