About Afterglow Coffee Cooperative
Afterglow Coffee Cooperative is a worker-owned Richmond specialty coffee roaster in Scott's Addition.
It describes itself as the city's first worker-owned roaster and café.
It roasts sustainably produced coffees with full traceability, such as a honey-processed micro-lot from Finca La Bolsa in Guatemala and a fully washed Hambella from Getachew Zekele in Guji, Ethiopia, sold in 12-ounce, 2.5-pound and 5-pound bags.
Afterglow serves its coffee at its own café on Summit Avenue alongside pastries, snacks and natural wine, open Wednesday to Sunday.
