About The Boredom Set
The Boredom Set is a Pittsburgh specialty coffee roaster with a counter inside Market Street Grocery, just off Market Square downtown.
Founded by Q. Miller-Edwards and Jett Wasson, it took over the counter from De Fer and pulls espresso on a Synesso MVP. The bar serves The Boredom Set's own roasts as espresso drinks and single-origin coffee, sourced through small importers such as Know Where Coffee in Colombia, Sundog Trading in Rwanda and Dynamic Coffee in Honduras. The company roasts at its other bar, Heat Check Cafe in Shadyside, and refurbishes home drip brewers for its Mr. Coffee Project.
Brewing espresso, v60, batch brew — roasted in-house.
