About Laban Kaffebar
Laban Kaffebar is a small specialty coffee bar on Kongensgade in central Odense, opened in 2024 by student Tilde Emilie Heilmann. The coffee comes from Blind Coffee, a Danish roastery that creates jobs for people with visual impairments, and the house espresso is called Førerhunden, the guide dog: a dark roast with chocolate and nut flavours and a gentle citrus finish.
Falstaff calls Laban a student favourite thanks to affordable cappuccinos and a young, welcoming feel. Beyond coffee and iced coffee, the counter offers paninis, cheese rolls and cakes that change daily. Laban won the Smagprisen 2025 award as Odense's top coffee bar, and there is outdoor seating on Kongensgade.
