About Ledger Coffee Roasters
Ledger Coffee Roasters at the Garver Feed Mill is a Madison specialty coffee roastery and coffee bar on the city's near east side, opened in fall 2019.
Owner Richard Wirsta, a Canadian who moved from Ontario, roasts on a 2009 Diedrich IR-24 inside the renovated former sugar beet processing plant near Olbrich Botanical Gardens. The bar runs a focused espresso menu on a La Marzocco Linea Classic, plus batch brew and house-made syrups, with pastries from Madison Sourdough. Ledger also runs a second café on Winnebago Street with vegan pastries from Heirloom Bakery.
