About Kurasu Ebisugawa

Kurasu Ebisugawa is the Kyoto flagship café of Kurasu, a specialty coffee company that began as an online shop for Japanese brewing gear. It opened in July 2020 on Ebisugawa street, the city's traditional furniture street in Nakagyo.

The space combines a coffee bar with a tasting area and a retail floor of drippers, kettles and grinders. Coffee comes from Kurasu's own Nishijin roastery, which roasts light single origins on a Giesen, alongside rotating partner roasters from around Japan. Beans and subscriptions are sold in store.

Brewing v60, espresso — roasted in-house.
