About Ponq
Ponq is a café, bar and cultural centre serving specialty coffee on Hrnčiarska in Košice, set in a renovated former carpentry workshop.
The name comes from ponk, the word for a carpenter's workbench, and the venue sums itself up as coffee, culture and community. Espresso, V60, batch brew and cold brew are on offer, with plant-based milks, and a bistro serves local food and vegan options from the afternoon. Ponq hosts workshops, theatre, cultural events and community gatherings, and the bar runs late into the evening. It is closed on Sundays. Wifi and laptop-friendly tables suit daytime work, there is outdoor seating, and children and dogs are welcome.
