About KUUHAKU COFFEE Weekend
KUUHAKU COFFEE Weekend is a weekend-only specialty coffee shop in Himeji where the owner roasts single origins in house. Beans from Colombia, Guatemala, Brazil and Ethiopia rotate through the menu.
A cupping bar lets customers taste five or six coffees side by side before choosing, and filter coffee is made by hand drip or batch brew. The owner pays close attention to variety, roast and brewing for each lot, and beans are sold to take home. It is open Saturdays and Sundays only.
