About Maeva cafe
Maeva is a specialty coffee café on the Raamvest canal in Haarlem, opened in April 2023 by Youssef Kaniz just outside the busy shopping streets.
The café rotates beans from several roasters, including Friedhats from Amsterdam, Single Estate Coffee Roasters and Normo from Antwerp, and sells the coffees on the bar for home brewing. It occupies a building almost 150 years old, facing the water on the south side, and a vinyl record player sets the mood. It draws more locals than tourists and is a regular workspace for Haarlem freelancers.
