About Zanzibar's Coffee Adventure
Zanzibar's Coffee Adventure on Ingersoll Avenue is a locally owned Des Moines specialty coffee café that has roasted on site since 1993.
The full-service espresso bar pours drinks such as a classic cappuccino and a chai latte, and a limited breakfast menu and sweet treats are served all day. Zanzibar's roasts Arabica from more than 30 countries in small batches, including organic and single-origin coffees, and beans can be bought in the café or ordered online for pickup or shipping. Changing art hangs on the walls. It opens at 6:30 a.m. Monday to Saturday and 8 a.m. on Sunday, closing at 4 p.m.
