About Sensei Coffee
Sensei Coffee is a light-roasting specialty coffee roaster with a retail showroom on Århusgade in Nordhavn, Copenhagen. Owner Luke Allen roasts under the Sensei name and aims for what he calls optimal development, building flavour without stretching the roast.
The result is bright, clear coffee meant to work as batch brew and espresso alike, and each bag is labelled for filter and espresso. Recent lots include a washed Ethiopia from Banko Gotiti, a honey-processed Colombia from Buesaco and a washed Kenya from Kirinyaga. The showroom opens Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 to 16:00 for tasting and buying beans rather than for a full café menu, and the motto printed on the site is every batch a lesson.
