About ROAST Coffee
ROAST Coffee's Vesterport bar is a small takeaway counter for specialty coffee inside Vesterport Station in Copenhagen. The coffee comes from ROAST's own roasting in Copenhagen, a company Andreas Astrup founded in 2014 around direct trade with farmers.
The menu is short and built for people catching a train: espresso, cappuccino and pour-over, with staff on hand to explain the beans on offer. ROAST's line-up is mostly single origins from Ethiopia, Kenya, Peru, Burundi and Rwanda. The counter opens at 7:00 on weekdays and 9:00 at weekends, which makes it a commuter stop on the edge of Indre By rather than a place to settle in.
