About ROAST Coffee
ROAST Coffee's Sydhavn site on Pladehals Allé is both a coffee bar and the roastery where the Copenhagen company produces its specialty coffee. ROAST was founded in 2014 by Andreas Astrup and buys directly from farmers, roasting single origins from countries such as Kenya, Ethiopia, Peru and Brazil.
This is the brand's working hub as much as a café. Cuppings and courses are held here, from barista basics and latte art to a coffee talk with roasting author Scott Rao, and the bar runs from 7:00 on weekdays and 9:00 at weekends. Outdoor seating suits a slower visit than the station counters, and the roasting happens on the same site.
