About ROAST Coffee
ROAST Coffee's Studiestræde bar is a specialty coffee counter on one of the inner-city streets of Indre By, Copenhagen. The beans are roasted by ROAST itself at its Copenhagen roasteries, and the company has bought directly from farmers since Andreas Astrup founded it in 2014.
Studiestræde is listed as a coffee bar without a roastery, so the focus is on the cup: espresso, cappuccino and pour-over made with the current single origins, which have included coffees from Ethiopia, Kenya, Peru and Rwanda. One of the ROAST baristas has won the Danish AeroPress Championship. Weekday opening is 7:30, with later starts at 10:00 on Saturday and Sunday, fitting the street's mix of students and city-centre shoppers.
