About Original Coffee Jorcks Passage
Original Coffee Jorcks Passage is a specialty coffee bar in a historic arcade off Strøget in central Copenhagen, at Jorcks Passage 1A. The passage runs through to Skindergade, a quiet seat just off the shopping streets of Indre By.
The beans come from the company's own roastery at Bag Elefanterne in Carlsberg Byen, and the pastries from its bakery in a former Kødbyen slaughterhouse. The bar serves espresso drinks and filter coffee with organic baked goods. Opening is a little later than at most Original Coffee cafés, at 7:30 on weekdays, and the café closes on public holidays. Original Coffee started in 2010 as Rolling Coffee, with childhood friends Nikolaj and Philip selling coffee from bikes, and took its current name in 2012.
