About Impact Roasters
Impact Roasters' café at Valby Station, on Mellemtoftevej, is a specialty coffee counter in Copenhagen from a roaster built around Ethiopian coffee. Impact Roasters sources from small-scale farms in southern Ethiopia through direct trade, and every cup supports social impact projects in Ethiopia's coffee-growing regions. Ethiopian-born Daniel Halalla, who helped roast coffee from the age of five, brings his homeland's coffee culture to the brand, which opened in 2017.
The Valby Station café opens at seven on weekdays, which makes it a commuter stop for coffee before the train, with weekend hours starting at half past eight. It is one of several Impact Roasters cafés across Copenhagen, with a sister café at Langgade Station, also in Valby.
