About GITZ Coffee
GITZ Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster and café on Landskronagade in Østerbro, Copenhagen, with the roastery set up inside the café itself. Beans are roasted in small batches, and guests can watch the roasting before choosing a bag to take home.
The range runs from light to dark roasts, with origins such as Colombia, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Brazil, plus a Brazilian decaf. At the bar, customers pick which bean their cup is brewed with, and the brew is adjusted to taste. Brewing gear for V60, Chemex and AeroPress is sold alongside the beans, and the same team runs a mobile coffee bar with three grinders for events. It is a small Østerbro café for buying freshly roasted coffee and tasting it first.
