About Uncommon Bar
Uncommon Bar is a specialty coffee and wild pastry bar in Amsterdam West, opened by the Uncommon roastery across the street from its original café.
By day it serves Uncommon's own seasonal and exclusive coffees as espresso from a Mavam machine and as hand-brewed pour-overs, along with pastries built on foraged and fermented ingredients from around Amsterdam. A signature coffee experience pairs cascara soda, geisha blossom tea and espresso. On Friday and Saturday evenings the kitchen turns to mostly plant-based, foraged and fermented plates with natural wine.
The interior was designed with Instil Collective, and the bar keeps a laptop-free policy.
