Badeta Coffee Van Wou / Albert Cuyp Market is a specialty coffee bar on Van Woustraat in Amsterdam, a short walk from the Albert Cuyp market.
Badeta was started in March 2018 by two friends, Tomas and Joost, both trained roasters and baristas, and the beans are roasted on a Probat in the company's Amsterdam roastery. The coffees rotate through origins such as Colombia and Ethiopia, served as espresso, V60, batch brew and cold brew, with decaf and plant-based milks. Breakfast is on offer, along with vegan options. The bar opens early, at half past seven from Monday to Saturday and at eight on Sunday, and stays open until five. Children and dogs are welcome.
