About Sognefjord Kaffibrenneri
Sognefjord Kaffibrenneri is a small-batch specialty coffee roaster in Sogndal, working from a wooden house in Sogndalsfjøra. Founder Kjetil started it in 2017 and has won a bronze medal in a Scandinavian roasting competition and qualified for the Norwegian roasting championship.
The roastery buys traceable coffees from Central and South America, Africa and Asia, most of them organic, and recent releases have come from Indonesia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Kenya, Tanzania and Colombia. Coffee is sold through a webshop and a monthly subscription, and a B2B arm supplies hotels, restaurants, cafés and offices across much of Norway. It also supplies the Det Gule Huset café in Sogndal.
