Rudys is a specialty coffee roaster in Logatec, a micro-roastery of about 15 square metres run by roaster Rudy, who trained at Mokaflor in Florence.
He roasts on an Italian STA roaster with a 5 kg batch and manual controls, focusing on medium roasts and house blends; the Soul Blend is the best-seller, alongside single origins such as Colombia, Brazil, Rwanda and Honduras. Coffee is sold in 150 g, 250 g and 1 kg bags. Visitors can tour the roastery and taste the coffee, and Rudys takes part in coffee events and festivals.
