About Pulp Coffee Roasters
Pulp Coffee Roasters is a San Antonio specialty coffee roaster founded by James Mireles and co-owned with Liza Mireles, roasting since 2015.
It roasts on a San Franciscan SF-25 production roaster and attributes its coffee's sweetness to an unusually high drop temperature. Pulp built its business on wholesale and private-label relationships and is open about where its coffee comes from.
Its roastery and café share a warehouse on Chestnut Street east of downtown, where the coffee is sold in bags dated by roast day and served as espresso drinks and nitro cold brew.
