Othello Specialty Coffee Roaster is a specialty coffee roaster in Beppu, Oita, founded by Miki Takabe, a Q Grader since 2016.
Takabe roasts on a GIESEN W1 and Fuji Royal equipment, aiming for flavor-forward profiles. The range includes two blends and around seven single origins from Guatemala, Brazil, Ethiopia, Rwanda and China, along with Beppu Onsen Coffee drip bags.
After a decade in business the roastery now centers on bean sales, including subscriptions of 1 kg and up for homes and local businesses.
