Mermaid Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roaster with a roastery café in Ikebukuro, Tokyo's Toshima City. It hand-picks beans and roasts in small quantities.
Coffees are served as hand drip and espresso, and beans are sold from around 1,100 yen per 100 g.
The Ikebukuro café at 1-23-4 Higashi-Ikebukuro opens daily until 10pm and serves house drinks such as Craft Cola Coffee and Espresso Romano with lemonade, plus light snacks. It is a short walk from Ikebukuro Station. Roasting is done in small batches to keep the beans fresh.
