Maruyama Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster from Karuizawa in Nagano, led by Kentaro Maruyama. The company traces its start to April 1991 at a small café called Hiiragi in Karuizawa-Oiwake.
Beans are roasted at the company's Komoro roasting factory, and the business sells specialty coffee retail and wholesale and runs cafés including its Karuizawa main shop, with offices in Komoro and Tokyo and a studio in Nihonbashi.
The range includes producer-focused lines such as Agrotakesi and Altocielo, and the company publishes a wholesale enquiry channel for cafés and restaurants.
