JIMLAN COFFEE is a Nagoya specialty coffee roaster that sells specialty-grade beans sourced from farms around the world. It roasts in its Nakagawa Ward shop.
Recent offerings include natural-process Ethiopian coffees and Geisha lots, sold as whole beans, drip bags and gift sets priced from about 1,600 to 5,600 yen. The founder argues that paying higher prices reduces producers' financial pressure and allows better coffee to be grown.
The online store ships across Japan, with free shipping on orders over 5,000 yen, and the shop itself pairs coffee with a vintage JBL sound system.
