Jacobsen & Svart Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roaster from Trondheim, founded by Tony Jacobsen in 2012 and now roasting at Vikhammer in Malvik.
The roastery focuses on light roasts. Its espresso blend is described as the darkest it roasts, still on the light side. It buys specialty-grade coffees scoring 84 points and up, including micro-lots and seasonal, traceable origins such as Colombia and Kenya. Coffee is roasted after orders are placed and sold as whole beans or ground, with filter and espresso subscriptions.
Jacobsen & Svart started in a 6-square-metre space behind a hair salon, one of Norway's first dozen roasteries. Today it runs a coffee bar at Brattørgata 4 in Trondheim and a mobile coffee bar, and supplies businesses.
