About Dynamite Roasting Coffee Bar
Dynamite Roasting Co. is a Black Mountain specialty coffee roaster near Asheville that has been 100% certified organic and Fair Trade since day one.
It was formed in 2008 by two Asheville musicians, Andy, then a brewer, and Josh, a graphic designer, who wanted locally roasted coffee they could not find. It first roasted for its Black Mountain café and a handful of restaurants, then opened a larger roasting facility in town in 2013. It works closely with partners and growers to get high-quality beans at a fair price for customers. The range covers regular blends, microlots and seasonal coffees, and a coffee porter called Thunderstruck is made with Highland Brewing.
