About COFFEE COUNTY Kurume

COFFEE COUNTY is a specialty coffee roaster from Kurume in Fukuoka Prefecture, opened in November 2013. Before opening, its founder spent months living and working on a farm in Nicaragua.

The roaster buys mainly from Central American producers it visits every year and roasts for fruit-forward coffees with bright acidity that respect each lot's character.

Besides the original Kurume shop, it runs a café in Takasago and the COFFEE COUNTY stock bar in Nishinakasu in Fukuoka, plus a Tokyo shop in Setagaya's Kitazawa, and sells beans through its web shop.
