About Bug Coffee
Bug Coffee is a Sofia specialty coffee roaster founded in 2014, roasting small batches every week and running a café on Professor Asen Zlatarov Street.
Head roaster Johnny is SCA-certified with more than ten years of roasting experience. The roastery sells traceable coffees scoring 80+ SCA, including Gotiti from Ethiopia, Karengera from Rwanda, Los Papales from Nicaragua and Los Angeles from El Salvador, plus the Bandit and Kalinka blends, along with espresso machines, grinders and accessories.
Bug supplies a wide list of Sofia cafés including Altruist, 718 Breakfast & Brunch, Bloom and FLOW Coffee and Pastry, and offers free barista training and equipment advice to partners. Its own café serves espresso, filter and cold brew.
