Blue Bottle Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster founded in Oakland, California, with a large network of cafés in Japan. Its first Japanese café and roastery opened in 2015 in a converted warehouse in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, Tokyo's Koto City.
The roaster follows a seed-to-cup approach, offering seasonal single origins alongside house blends for espresso and drip.
In Japan, beans and brewing equipment are sold in cafés and through the Japanese online store. The Kiyosumi-Shirakawa roastery café has 47 seats. Cafés across Japan are supplied from its Japanese roasting operations.
