About Blommers Coffee
Blommers Coffee Roasters is a Nijmegen specialty coffee roaster founded in 2013 and based in a converted textile factory at the NYMA site.
Blommers aims for light, bright roasts that bring out the character of each lot. Recent coffees include Ethiopian Badaye and Gerba Dogo, Mexico's Finca Irlanda and the Fedesi cooperative, Costa Rica's Aquiares, Brazil's Cascavel, a Colombian Pink Bourbon from Diego Horta and Guatemala's Finca Medina. The company works on coffee shipped by sail and agroforestry projects, and its team competes in national and international coffee championships.
Blommers runs four Coffee Brewers bars in Nijmegen and supplies many of the city's cafés, including Gesha and Billy's. Visitors can come to the roastery on weekdays, and there is a wholesale programme with tastings and tours.
