blanket cafe is a specialty coffee roaster in Kanazawa, roasting its own beans at a small café on a side street near Oyama Shrine.
The roasting covers single origins, with coffees such as Kenyan and Tanzanian lots appearing on the menu. Beans are served in the café and sold to take home.
The 14-seat room has sofa seating, and the café pairs its coffee with homemade biscotti, tiramisu and a house-made ginger ale. It opens Thursday to Sunday from 11:00 to 18:00 and takes cash only.
