About Bastardo Coffee Roasters
Bastardo Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roaster in central Aveiro whose roasting machine sits in view inside its café on Rua de Marques Gomes.
Founder and CEO Luís Santiago started roasting near Coimbra and moved the roastery to Aveiro in 2023, where he already had many clients. What was planned as a roastery with a retail counter grew into a coffee shop with table and counter service.
Bastardo roasts weekly and sells more than a dozen coffees online, including single origins from Angola and Colombia, lots such as Pink Bourbon and Sidra, and two house blends, Blend Bastardo N.º 1 and N.º 2. Orders ship in one to three business days to mainland Portugal and Spain, and can also be collected in store.
