About Arusha Roastery
Arusha Roastery is a specialty coffee roaster in Copalnic, Maramureș, Romania, focused on microlots roasted to keep their origin character.
The team runs the roastery in a rural setting. It selects specialty coffees from around the world and develops a separate roast profile for each lot, aiming for complexity over volume.
Arusha won the Roast Masters title in Milan in 2023 and placed second at the Paris Coffee Festival in 2024. The team has also taken part in the European Barista Cup. Its coffee sells through the arusha.ro web shop, and in Bulgaria it is served at Sunny Coffee Holiday Park in Stara Zagora.
