About APE Coffee
APE Coffee is a Braga specialty coffee roaster that has roasted weekly since 2019, supplying its own cafés and event vans in the city.
The brand began in 2015 as an espresso service run from a customised Piaggio Ape van in Braga's historic centre, and the vans still work weddings, christenings and corporate events. A café followed in 2017, and in 2023 the flagship moved to the Setra building near the Sé cathedral.
APE sells its coffees online through its coffee club webshop, with a rotating list of single origins from origins such as Ethiopia, Kenya, Honduras, Nicaragua, Brazil, Uganda and Panama. The same beans go into the flagship café and the grab-and-go APE Coffee Corner, where coffee drinks are also sealed into cans on site.
