About ANTHEM ROASTERY
ANTHEM ROASTERY is a small specialty coffee roaster in Iizuka, Fukuoka Prefecture, run by Katsuhiko Koga since March 2020.
Koga roasts on a 2.5 kg Diedrich in a family home in a wooded area, working with coffees from Ethiopia, Colombia, Rwanda and elsewhere. He brews pour-over with a coarser grind and slightly lower water temperature for a clear, rounded cup.
The address is not public; visits and bean orders are arranged through Instagram, and a small eat-in space was added in 2023.
