About AKAM COFFEE WORKS
Akam Coffee Works is a specialty coffee roaster in Hiroshima's Naka Ward. It roasts and serves from a small shop in Kokutaijimachi, near Otemachi, working with lots from Africa, Central America and Asia such as Ethiopia, Guatemala and Indonesia.
The roaster sells roasted beans, drip bags and a coffee subscription through its online shop, and supplies local cafés wholesale. It also sells green coffee and one-kilo bags for home roasters and businesses, which is unusual for an operation of its size. At the shop counter the coffee is poured as single-origin filter and espresso.
