08 COFFEE is an Akita specialty coffee roaster that describes its mission as bringing specialty coffee and a richer way of life to the city. It roasts for its own tearoom in Sannoshinmachi.
The business runs a beans and lifestyle shop, a Coffee Labo and an online store on BASE, selling blends, single origins, drip bags and gifts to customers across Japan.
It marked its 15th anniversary recently, having opened in July 2011. Weekday hours run to 19:00, and the shop is closed on Wednesdays.
