About Blanchard's Coffee Broad Street
Blanchard's Coffee Broad Street is the Richmond roaster's first café, serving specialty coffee in the Museum District across from Scott's Addition. Blanchard's has been roasting coffee in Richmond since 2005.
The café is a big open space, recently updated with more seating, a patio and a focus on coffee education. Free Cafe Classroom sessions run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, covering slow-bar brewing, brew classes and cuppings. The shelves carry the roaster's popular coffees, including the Handshake blend, Blanchard's Blend and Dark As Dark, alongside single origins and brew equipment. Open daily from 7am on weekdays, it works as both a workday café and a place to learn pour-over technique.
