About RESPEKT COFFEE
Respekt Coffee in Vysočany is a Prague 9 café of the Czech specialty coffee roaster of the same name, on Poděbradská street. The family-run roastery buys from small farmers and works on direct, long-term relationships, which is where the name comes from.
The bar pours Respekt's own roasts as espresso, V60 filter, batch brew and cold brew, with decaf and plant-based milks. Recent coffees include Kenya Tegu AB, Ethiopia Shakisso Hadeso and Uganda Butawa, alongside cascara from Hacienda Sonora, all sold as beans through the roaster's e-shop. Breakfast and vegan options are available, children and dogs are welcome, there is outdoor seating, and the entrance is step-free. Other Respekt cafés operate in Radlice and at Smíchovské nádraží.
