About Kávová škola doubleshot
Kávová škola doubleshot is the coffee school of doubleshot, the specialty coffee roaster in Prague founded in 2010, set in Karlín on Křižíkova street. The school has run courses since 2014, for beginners through to working professionals.
Public courses include an evening introduction to coffee, a basic barista course, home filter and home espresso courses, latte art, a sensory course and an English-language barista course. Professional training follows SCA and WBC standards, and the school also hosts public cuppings, workshops and coffee cocktail sessions. The coffee used comes from doubleshot's own roastery, which buys more than 90 percent of its green coffee directly from farmers it knows personally.
