About Kavárna čistírna 1906
Kavárna čistírna 1906 is a specialty coffee café inside the Old Wastewater Treatment Plant in Prague's Bubeneč, a national cultural monument from 1906. The venue, known as Čistírna1906, sits on Papírenská street, with underground reservoirs beneath around half a hectare of green space.
The coffee comes from Candycane Coffee in Prague, served as espresso drinks, V60, batch brew and cold brew, with plant-based milks available. Under the artistic direction of the Petrohradská kolektiv, the site hosts concerts and performances indoors and out, with a seasonal outdoor bar and halls for larger events. Wifi and laptop-friendly seating are available inside, the grounds offer plenty of outdoor seating, and dogs are welcome.
