About Father's Coffee Store
Father's Coffee Store on Bubenečská is the Prague showroom and espresso bar of Ostrava roastery Father's Coffee, serving its own specialty coffee. Beans are sold to take home. The roastery traces its start to a single espresso in 2013 and now roasts daily, with coffees from Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Guatemala and Nicaragua.
The store doubles as an education centre: it trains baristas for partner cafés and runs home filter and home espresso courses as well as SCA barista certification. Espresso, V60 and batch brew are on the bar, with plant-based milks. It opens 10:00 to 19:00 on weekdays and 8:00 to 14:00 on Saturday, and kids and dogs are welcome.
