About élan
élan is a specialty coffee bar on Kirkegata in central Oslo, in the Kvadraturen district near Akershus Fortress.
The bar serves espresso drinks, filter coffee, cold drip and nitro coffee, with beans from Jacu Coffee Roastery in Ålesund listed on its European Coffee Trip profile. The interior was designed by the architecture firm Snøhetta. The website links it to Magnat Kaffehus, a coffee company that keeps its coffee house on the same block. Plant-based milks are available, dogs and children are welcome, and there is outdoor seating. It opens on weekdays and Saturdays and is closed on Sundays.
