About Eigenwijs speelcafé

Eigenwijs speelcafé is a play-and-eat café on Kattestraat in Merchtem where specialty coffee comes with a play corner for children. Coffee and tea come from Izy Coffee. The classics run from espresso and long black to cappuccino and flat white, joined by signature lattes such as Speculicious and Pistachio and a range of iced drinks.

Breakfast plates, bagels and pancakes start the day, and lunch brings salads, quiches, toasts and a seasonal soup bar. Cakes from the counter and bread pudding cover the afternoon. A shop-in-shop sells durable toys, and the space can be booked for birthdays, receptions and baby showers.
