About Kahii

Kahii is a specialty coffee shop on Quai Claude Bernard in Lyon's 7th arrondissement, opened by William Aresten and Tu-Huy Diep.

It sits near the Rhône swimming pool. The coffee comes from Juicy Coffee Roasters, a young roastery near Tarare, and one Rwandan lot, Kinini, has been noted for pomegranate, strawberry, watermelon and rhubarb. It is served as espresso, V60, batch brew and cold brew, with plant-based milks. Food skips the usual American café fare for Asian-inspired snacks: banh mi on homemade brioche-style bread, tamago sando and black sesame cheesecake. The room is clean and calm, with cream tones, wooden floors, large ceiling fans and metal shelving. It opens on weekdays only.

Brewing espresso, v60, cold brew, batch brew.
