About Presse Books
Presse Books is a café and arts bookshop at FormaHQ on Great Dover Street, London, serving specialty coffee between Borough and Elephant and Castle. The space opened in October 2022 inside a Sanchez Benton conversion of former parking garages, with a public rooftop garden looking out to the Shard. The coffee is from Assembly, with the house espresso used for piccolos, a single-origin batch brew on filter, and retail bags on sale.
Pastries and sweets come from local bakery Comptoir, including a giant chocolate chip cookie. Shelves carry Forma's own publications and artist editions alongside books on art, architecture, politics, poetry and horticulture, and the programme includes book launches and performances. Opening hours run Tuesday to Friday, daytime only.
