About Strandvejsristeriet
Strandvejsristeriet is a family-owned roastery and specialty coffee bar in one of the old buildings at Kronborg Castle in Helsingør. The rooms once fed the castle's soldiers for 350 years and now hold the bar, the shop and the roaster itself.
Green beans are imported and roasted as orders come in, with single origins such as Kenya Kamante and a Brazil yellow bourbon. The bar covers espresso drinks plus a coffee of the day, pour-over, AeroPress, Chemex and French press. Food is bread from a local baker, cakes baked in Helsingør, a rye bread sandwich and the Kronborg Complet. It is a coffee bar first, with no lunch service, open daily from 9:30 to 17:00.
