About haïku

Haïku is a small specialty coffee shop and tea room on Rue Esprit des Lois in central Bordeaux, run by Clémentine, formerly of Black List and Snickelfritz.

Poems hang on the walls and drinks arrive in delicate ceramic cups. Coffee has come from Oven Heaven in Bordeaux and from guest roasters such as Fève in Paris, Morgon in Gothenburg, Nomad in Barcelona and Manhattan in Rotterdam, served as espresso, V60, batch brew and cold brew, with decaf and plant-based milks. Matcha lattes and masala chai are on the menu too, and the sweets include vegan cookies and cakes. Haïku opens on weekdays only and is closed at the weekend.

Brewing espresso, v60, cold brew, batch brew.
